  • Beavertown Smog Rocket
  • Beavertown Smog Rocket

    Porter

    London, England
BEER NOTES: An original homebrew recipe by Beavertown's founder Logan Plant, Smog Rocket uses nine different malts including a good chunk of smoked "rauchmaltz" from Bamburg, Germany. It adds a smokiness to the rich molasses, raisin and caramel flavours, which are balanced with big hits of US hop bitterness. Inspired by London's industrial revolution, when smog filled the air and porter was the beer of the people.
FOOD & BEER: This beer was brewed specifically to match smoked beef ribs, and is fantastic with any barbecued meat. But it would also be great with hard cheese.
    BEER INFORMATION: 24 x 330ml can, 30 litre kegs (5.4% abv)

  • Lervig Konrad Stout

    Imperial Stout

    Stravanger, Norway
BEER NOTES: Lervig head brewer Mike Murphy often brews the famous Beer Geek Breakfast beers for gypsy brewer Mikkeller, so he knows how to do a good imperial stout. Konrad Stout is much better than that – it's smooth and sweet, balanced with a fantastic coffee and liquorice edge that gives it depth and character beyond most strong dark beers. The kind of beer that stops people in their tracks.
FOOD & BEER: A surprisingly versatile beer considering it's strength, but at its absolutely best with hard cheeses, chocolate puddings and as a digestif.
    BEER INFORMATION: 24 x 330ml (10.4% abv)

  • Magic Rock Dark Arts

    Stout

    Huddersfield, UK
BEER NOTES: A full-bodied and rich stout that combines lots of roasted and caramel malt with loads of American hops to make a beer with complex liquorice, chocolate and burnt toast notes. Despite its complexity it's very, very drinkable and warming, exactly as a stout should be.
FOOD & BEER: Amazing with wintery soups and stews, as well as blue cheese and roast beef.
    BEER INFORMATION: 24 x 330ml (56.0% abv)

  • Wild Beer Millionaire

    Stout

    Somerset, UK
BEER NOTES: A stunning beer from Wild, this stout has been brewed with salted caramel to add lots of rich buttery sweetness but also a hint of salty minerality to heighten it and add balance. The base beer has notes of dark chocolate and a little coffee which complements the sweetness while drying it out.
FOOD & BEER: Best with puddings, particularly cherry and chocolate ones.
    BEER INFORMATION: 30l keg, 18 x 330ml bottles
