    BLONDE ALE

    Bruges, Belgium
    BEER NOTES: Named Brugse Zot or "Bruges Fool", a historic nickname given to the town folk of Bruges, this golden beer should not be taken lightly. Brewed at the Halve Maan in Bruges, Brugse Zot gains its sweet body from four different malts, while two aromatic hop varieties give the beer a big, hoppy aroma and a satisfying dry finish.
    FOOD & BEER: Complements salads, creamy sauces, roast lamb and pork, and also has the character to stand up to spicy foods such as Asian curries.
    BEER INFORMATION: 24 x 330ml bottles, 30 litre Alumasc keg (6% abv)

    BELGIAN BROWN ALE

    Bruges, Belgium
    BEER NOTES: A delicious dubbel from Bruges's Halve Maan brewery. A deep russet-brown body contrasts pleasingly with a firm creamy head. Up front malt sweetness is accented with bitter chocolate and dark fruits, all brought to a close with a rewarding bitter hop finish. One of Belgium's best dark beers.
    FOOD & BEER: Stands up to slowly cooked meat dishes such as casseroles and steak pies. Also contrast well with sharp sweet desserts.

    BELGIAN QUADRUPLE ALE

    Bruges, Belgium
    BEER NOTES: A very strong, dark quadruple ale that is remarkably drinkable. It pours deep brown, with raisins, sultanas and spices on the aroma. On the tongue it has a big rum-like central taste, backed by sweet malt, caramel and brown sugar, before a dry bitter hop finish. 
    FOOD & BEER: This big beer has the depth of complexity to take on richly roasted dark meats and bold cheeses such as blue stilton.

    BELGIAN TRIPLE ALE

    Bruges, Belgium
    BEER NOTES: Wonderful tripel from the Halve Maan, a highly regarded brewery that also brews the wonderful Bruges Zot. it has a deep golden body and a full white head, orange, lemon and warm spices dominate the nose, and six different malts produce a rich fruity body with caramel notes. Saaz and Styrian Goldings provide the bitter hop balance.
    FOOD & BEER: Matches well to strong hard cheese, white fish and poultry. Has the punch to cope with cream based sauces and spicy heat.
