    RYE IPA

    London, England
    Beavertown 8 Ball

    BEER NOTES

8 Ball is a mash up of spicy rye and zesty hops. The name comes from the pool balls used to weigh the hop sack down in the beer from the home brewing days of Beavertown. The use of citra and other citrusy hops has added a new dimension to a traditionally yeasty, almost spicy style. The balance of hops and malt works very well to create a rounded IPA.

    FOOD & BEER

First brewed at Hackney's Duke's Brew & Que, this beer is designed to go with pork and particularly ribs. The rye matches spice rubs and sweet meat, while the hops cut through any fat.
