As we are all aware, Leeds knows its beer, and this was more than evident at this year’s Leeds International Beer Festival. The Town Hall yet again made for an incredible backdrop to the creativity of some of the best brewers from around the world. Tiny Rebel took over one room and filled it with merch for sale, loads of arcade games and of course plenty of beer. Queue lots of button bashing and broken glasses! Our friends at North Bar created Atomium again, their Belgian bar deep in the crypt of the hall, along with a cocktail bar and laser filled hallway that keeps you entertained as you walk through the depths of the town hall.

In the European room you could find De Molen, Amundsun and many more including our very own White Hag, who entertained the mass with their beer puppet game. If you haven’t had the chance to see this action make sure you get to their next event, as it promises lots of messy fun. The front of the town hall was filled with foodie delights from Bundobust and other delicious treats along with a huge stretch tent where you could find Tapped Bar and the amazing Yonder!

And just across the way you could find us, in a giant yurt filled with the perfect Lervig pink lighting, blasting out 80’s bangers! Jim and I joined forces with Vegard & Freddie of Lervig to show Leeds how to party and I think it’s safe to say we achieve that. With a keg of Times 8 16% stout going in just one session, everyone was in the party spirit and a singalong/danceathon ensued. We had an amazing time and thanks to all our new and long-time trade customers for stopping by to say hello!

Huge thanks to all at LIBF for having us and here’s to next year!

If you missed out, don’t worry we will be sure to bring the same vibes to Indy Man Beer Con so we will see you all there for more good times!
