DELIVERY INFORMATION

Cave Direct operates one of the largest specialist beer delivery fleets in the UK, allowing us to deliver directly to customers across the country. 

By managing our own logistics network, we maintain close control over the journey from brewery to bar, helping ensure your beer arrives in the best possible condition every time. 

Our experienced dray teams provide reliable service and support at the point of delivery, and in the unlikely event of any issues with your order, they’ll always do their best to get things sorted quickly. 

We’re continually expanding our delivery network to reach more customers throughout the UK. The interactive map above provides a guide to the postcodes we currently service directly. If you fall outside these areas, speak to your Account Manager who can advise on available delivery options and routes based on your location and requirements. 

Our fleet of delivery trucks are the most extensive of any specialist beer company in the UK. As such, we can deliver directly to over 90% of the UK’s businesses. This means we can care for the beer properly throughout the journey from brewery to bar, ensuring the best quality.

In the unlikely event you experience any problems with your order, our friendly dray teams will be on hand to help you at the point of delivery.

We are continually growing our delivery area to encompass more customers. Our interactive map is a guide to the postcodes we deliver to. If you are currently outside of this area, please contact your Account Manager who can give you a better idea of our delivery routes based on your needs.

 
 

Cutoffs & Delivery Options

When you register for an account with Cave Direct, your dedicated Account Manager will contact you to discuss the delivery options available in your area. 

Delivery Days

Cave Direct delivers Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 5:00pm. 

Most customers are assigned a dedicated weekly delivery day, giving you consistency and making it easier to plan your orders and stock levels. Please let us know about any delivery restrictions or access requirements during setup, and our drivers will always do their best to accommodate your needs. 

Bank Holidays

Cave Direct operates a limited service during Bank Holiday periods. 

If your usual delivery day falls on a Bank Holiday, we recommend increasing your previous week’s order where possible. We always do our best to adjust schedules and accommodate customer requirements during these periods to help keep everything running smoothly. 

Advance communication will be sent ahead of all Bank Holidays, and we encourage customers to contact us directly with any specific delivery requirements or questions. 

Standard Next Day Delivery (Own Fleet)

Orders must be placed by 1:00pm on the working day before your scheduled delivery to allow enough time for picking and loading. 

Our drivers will also collect any empty kegs or cases made available at the time of delivery and record these on the delivery paperwork, helping keep products moving back through the return system efficiently.

Overnight/ Extended Route Delivery (Own Fleet)

For customers located further from our Kent and Manchester depots, we operate extended delivery routes that typically run over 2-4 days on scheduled rotations. 

To secure delivery within the same week, orders will usually need to be placed by 11:00am on the specified order day advised by your Account Manager. 

Drivers will also collect any empty kegs or cases made available at the point of delivery and record them accordingly.

Courier Pallet Delivery

For customers outside of our direct delivery network, or for urgent and emergency deliveries, we offer pallet delivery through a trusted third-party pallet network. 

Orders must be placed by 12:00pm on Monday for same-week delivery. 

Please note: 

  • Delivery charges and free-delivery thresholds vary by postcode 
  • Your Account Manager will explain all applicable costs during account setup 
  • Brewery-owned steel kegs must be returned at the customer’s expense unless otherwise agreed 
  • Deposits will only be refunded once kegs have been returned and processed

Minimum orders

Cave Direct offers free delivery through our own logistics network on orders over £250 ex VAT. 

Orders below this threshold will be held until the minimum order value is reached and then shipped on your next scheduled delivery day. 

If you require an urgent delivery for an order under the minimum value, please contact our office to arrange a courier or pallet delivery service. Please note that additional delivery charges will apply.
