Forget tinsel, forget carols. The real sign that the festive season has arrived is the return of Sierra Nevada Celebration, the fresh hop IPA that’s been making beer cheer(s) since 1981. But this year? We’re bringing something genuinely special. Something historic. We’re bringing Celebration - the iconic West Coast hop-bomb - on cask to the U.K.

For decades, Celebration has been poured in keg and bottle, bursting with citrus zest, pine resin and that unapologetic Sierra snap of bitterness. But pulling it through a handpump? That changes everything. Cask brings a creamy mouthfeel, a mellow rounded warmth and a depth that makes the hops glow. Like meeting an old friend with a new personality.

And it’s kind of poetic. An American hero of the hop world served in the most traditional British format. A beer that celebrates the harvest being served in a way that celebrates the pub.

Of course, as you may have heard, we are also running some pretty exciting Sierra Nevada Tap Takeovers at a few key venues - including the Sutton Arms on the 17th of December, where Steve Grossman himself will be joining the party. He’ll be chatting, checking quality, and likely doing his best to convert a few diehard cask sceptics. (“Just try it,” he’ll say. And they will. And they’ll melt.)

But Celebration on cask is the real star of the show.

We’ve worked closely with Sierra Nevada to make this happen, and the result is that this year, pubs across the UK. From London to Manchester, Edinburgh to Nottingham will be pouring Celebration in a way that’s never been seen before on this side of the Atlantic.

It’s exciting. It’s nerdy. It’s historic.
And we’re toasting every second of it.
